Q. How do you get the Internet to my location?
A. We utilize a premium wireless technology to extend
carrier-class fibre connectivity into your location. A
wireless outdoor antenna cabled to an indoor receiver allows you to access highspeed
Internet.
Q. How fast is it?
A. Our Standard Service provides up to 1 Mb/s which is comparable to or better
than cable or DSL. The Enhanced Service is a custom solution designed to meet
the unique needs of clients requiring faster speeds or more bandwidth. Commercial Custom links can provide
up to 100 Mb/s service.
Q. Is my wireless connection secure? Can my neighbours read
my e-mail?
A. Your wireless connection is completely secure, and your
neighbours will NOT be able to read your e-mail. All of our
wireless connections incorporate enhanced, proprietary encryption so your wireless connection
to our network is as secure as using your phone line. Please
remember that the Internet as a whole has various security
vulnerablities, so we emphasize that you always use anti-virus software, firewall
software, and only make purchases at secure websites. If you have security concerns our technicians
can make specific recommendations to help you feel confident with your security and privacy.
Q. I am in a location where service is not yet available. When will I be able to get highspeed Internet?
A. We are continually expanding our network coverage across various rural and remote communities so
